P2 Salad Dressing

I love this P2 legal dressing!
2T White Balsamic Vinegar (be careful with Balsamic as most have carbs. Whole Foods does have one without carbs and only 5 cal. per T)
Garlic to taste
Sweetner to taste.

When in P3/P4 you can add Light Olive Oil to the mix :-)

weigh in

Today I am the same as yestaurday 123.2. Still within the LDW range. Although it is the first time that I didn't loss anything with the menu I'd been eating all week. I was hoping for getting a little closer to my LDW but hay I didn't gain so that is good! I'm changing up my menu today...We shall see if my body likes it tomorrow :0)

WHaaaa Whooo I am back within the -/+2 LDW range. Okay I'm at the +2 but love being back within range!! Today I will still do the menu I've followed all week hoping to get even closer to LDW tomorrow. I'm so glad I joined HTA and Bootcamp!! I would of caved by now it I hadn't!

Weigh In

I've been very busy so can't always keep up with posting here. I will try to post more often :0).
Yesterday I spent 4 hrs. at the dentist and am now on antibiotics. I am hoping the don't cause me gains.
I have been doing Happily Thinner After Bootcamp. Sorry, I can't share my menu's here as that is part of the BC agreement. I am glad I joined though! BIZ has helped me find a menu that is getting me back into my LDW range. I am currently +3.6 pounds above my LDW, I was +6, yuck!
Today is day 20 of P3 for me so technically tomorrow is my last day of P3. I am going to continue with P3 longer as I really want my body to stabilize and I think adding other P4 things now would be a big mistake. I went 12 days with nothing but gains, trying alot of different ways of eating. I don't believe my body is very stable yet so I will wait to go into P4.

So Steak Day only gave me a very small loss then I was right back up to 125. Did an Egg Day on Thurs. and got not loss Friday morning still at 125. So I've decided to let my body just settle into 125 right now. Fighting it hasn't worked...

I was very very snacky yestaurday and ate way to many nuts and probably to much whip cream! I'm at 125.4...Steak Day for me today!! It's all my own doing and so I can't be upset as it was self inflected!!

Rebounder Work Out

I just did 10 minutes of jogging & kicks on a rebounder. It was alot of FUN :0). I know I only did 10 minutes but I'm way outta shape, being in P3 I want to start slow so I don't get a gain from water weight. I have defiantly found a fun way to workout!

Saturday, Sunday & Monday Weigh In

Steak day netted me a 1 pound loss :0). I then went back up on Sunday to the +2 pounds from LDW but no correction day for me cause I'm at my limit. Today Monday I am the same as yestaurday..+2 from LDW so Super Bowl snacking, on food I prepared which was all "legal" did me good! Wish I could get down a bit and not right on the edge but no CD's are a good thing in my book. I'm on day 12 of P3 so over 1/2 way to P4...Yippee!!

So Nut Day only gave me a .2 loss....Quite upset with that cause I'm now again at the +2 pounds from LDW! I was hoping for more wiggle room!! Bernice is still a big issue. Hoping the Nut Day at least gives me a "clean out" today sometime!!

Wednesday Feb. 3rd Weigh In

Today I have to do a correction day. I'm on P3 Day 7 and 2.2 pounds over my LDW. I have choosen to do a Nut Day since I don't have any steaks defrosted. I'm also hoping the Nut Day "cleans me out" since Bernice has been AWOL...

Nut Day Average loss 1-2 lbs.

This has proven effective for some. A nut day seems to be good for those on the go because it allows snacking throughout the day.
The most important point to keep in mind is that the nuts have to be eaten RAW and to choose nuts with the highest fat content. The recommended order is as follows:

Macadamias 200 calories
Pecans 189
Walnuts 182
Brazil Nuts 186
Hazelnuts 179
Pine Nuts 179
Pistachios 164
Almonds 167
Peanuts 161
Cashews 163

This caloric measure is for 1 oz of raw nuts.
Concentrate on staying under 2500 calories for the day, using any mixture of nuts that you like. Try to eat your allotment for the day in small servings, like once an hour. This will keep you surprisingly satiated and will create quite the laxative effect the next day!!!


Chicken Day
Following the correction day instructions it says to oven roast a whole chicken then start with the brown meat, including skin...eat away all day on that chicken...but eat when hungry only. I am keeping that handy if I need to do a correction day. That not eating all day and than eat steak/apple at dinner was really hard for me. Like the idea that I can munch all day.

Monday, Feb. 1st 2010 Weigh In

I am the same today as yestaurday 122.4 which is 1.2 up from LDW. I'm within my -/+2 pound range so no worries. TOM is still here and I didn't get all my food ate yestaurday so I was a bit worried...no need to be though :-)!!
I actually went shopping yestaurday and bought myself some size 2 jeans!! I am so excited...I did a happy dance in the dressing room. I noticed about 5 days ago that my size 4 where getting a bit loose in the waist. So while I was out yest. I decided to just go try and see how 2's would fit and to my surprise they fit GREAT :0)! So I may not be lossing pounds I'm defiantly lossing inches in P3!

TOM is here...don't like this 10ish days early thing! I was on day 2 of P3 when TOM came to visit but had gone through the 72 hrs so technically off HCG for 5 days so I think I'm okay per P&I...and this shouldn't mess with my stabilizing

Sunday Jan. 31st 2010 Weigh In

Good Sunday morning! I am up .8 pounds today. Still well within my 2 pound limit so I am telling myself it's okay :0)! I think it's because TOM has decided to come early...like 10-12 days early and Bernice is being scarce. I'll take some Natural Calm today and drink lots of water. My back is also still outta wack so I've done nothin but lay or sit the last 3 days.
I was going to change up my planned menu for today and not add anything new. I've decided not to do that though...I'll eat as planned and see what the scale says tomorrow.

Menu Posting Change

I am going to start posting the menu I ate the day before. This way I get a "true" account for what I actually ate and not what I'm thinking I'll eat. Hope that makes since...I plan on eating something and sometimes I have to make adjustments/changes depending on how full I am or what I am doing for the day.

Good morning! Day 3 of R2P3 my LDW is 121.2 I am up .4 today to 121.6. Not worried, I haven't been active since I hurt my back. Chiropractor want me either sitting or laying to heal. I believe I may be retaining water so my body can heal my back.

I made it through day 1 P3 with out a gain or lose. Still at 121.2...body really, really loves this #! I really enjoyed day 1 of P3.
I wasn't able to eat all the food I'd planned on my menu for yestaurday. As my tummy was starting to feel bloated and ickie. I did enjoy adding the Heavy Whipping Cream to my coffee & strawberries...yummy!!

Today is day 1 of P3! I am exactly at my LDW 121.2 which I have been at for 5 days. No wiggle room but to hold steady here would be PERFECT for me. I am still losing inches as my jeans are losser today then they where 5 days ago :0). I've heard you still shrink in P3 and if that is true I may have to go by new pants again!

Monday, Jan. 25 2010 Weigh In

Okay so I have decided to have today be my LDW at 121.2. For those of you who don't know me from the LCF site I was going for 120. I've realized my body is DONE. I've been dreaming about foods I don't like, today my arms feel very weak, I'd had a headache which for me is not normal at all, I've had a few dizzy spells the last 2 days and my attention span is way off which isn't normal for me either. From reading some threads on the Happily Thinner After site these are all signs that my body is done. So since I already took my am dose I will go into P3 Thursday. I didn't make my 120 goal but I am listening to my body and I feel that I can tone up the areas I need to when I go into P4.

So for the first time this round I had a small gain .2 pounds. I believe it's because of Bernice not coming real well so I upped my Natural Calm dose yest. It could also be as stated in P&I that my body is holding onto some water while the fat cells are breaking down...I'm all for that :0). What ever it is I will stay true to the protocol and myself by keepin on! I now only have 3.6 pounds until my goal of 120!

Julian Bread Ideas

Julian Bread ideas
Try this: pour some bacon grease in a pan and let it heat up. Meanwhile, dunk
the Julian bread in some whipped eggs with heavy cream, and fry it in the bacon
grease. You can use some sugar-free syrup and have a really decadent French
Toast. If you're feeling really scary, whip up some heavy cream with a bit of
stevia and put whipped cream on it.....

Fried in bacon grease, with almond butter spread on it

My favorite is either with butter, cinnamon and sweetener or cheese toast
(grilled cheese is too much). It is sooooooo good when the butter gets all
absorbed into the Julian.

"Sweet Potatoe" P2 Radishes

boil radishes and then mash them. Add some cinnamon and stevia almost like eating a sweet potato

shred them like hashbrowns, put a little liquid in pan, throw it all in there and just kept turning until they start to brown a little like hashbrowns. Season to taste

Monday, Jan. 11th 2010 Weigh In

Today I am .6 lbs down weighing in at 127.8 pounds! That gives me 7.8 pounds gone this first week back on VLCD's from my Holiday Interruption and 7.8 pounds to go until my goal of 120. I thought it was funny those 2 #'s are the same!

I can go up to 30 more VLCD's until I MUST to go into P3. This way I will have at least one week of P4 under my belt before my birthday. I'm pretty sure I can loss those last 7.8 pounds within that time. I'm actually hoping to make my goal within the next 20 VLCD's so I have a few weeks of P4 in before the birthday cake and sushi dinner :0) in March.

Taco Soup

Onion
4% Fat Ground Beef
Taco Seasoning (make sure it's protocol legal. I use one from Whole Foods)
Liquid Stevia
water

In small sauce pan simmer the onions until desired tenderness in 1.5 cups of water along with 1 dropper full of Stevia. In another small sauce pan brown ground beef once done, add taco seasoning (to taste) and 1-2 tablespoons of water. Simmer on low for 5-10 minutes or so. Add ground beef to onion mixture simmer together a bit and enjoy.

P2 Meals To Travel With

Need to travel or have a quick meal ready to go...try these ideas. Feel free to add some of your own ideas.

Celery Stixs or bite sized pieces to make it "go further"

Apple Slices or Bite sized pieces to make them "go further"

I've seen this recipe on the HcgDieters Yahoo Group it's Post #186062 if you want to check it out. It looks sssooooo good. I think it will hit the spot for something sweet/dessertish. I think I'm going to try it on Sunday or Monday!

P3/P4 Food Ideas

These where items that where suggested on the Yahoo group to eat when out of P2.

gluten free, sugar-free items, such as blueberry muffins, cheddar bacon muffins, fried cinnamon oopsies, regular oopsies: for grill cheddar/ham sandwiches or other sandwiches, mini pizzas and hamburger buns.

Strawberry Freeze

Allowed amount of Strawberries
Liquid Stevia to taste (or your preferred sweetner)
juice from 1/3 of lemon or to taste (optional I use rest of lemon to make a lemonade)

I usually double this and split the 2 servings into ramkins so I have 2 days of my fruit ready to go.

Using my majic bullet I place strawberries, stevia and squeeze in juice from lemon. Blend untill smooth. Pour into ramkins and freeze.

Add In Ideas:
Use flavored Stevia, or preferred sweetner
Use SF DaVinci Syrups to add other flavors such as Huckleberry in P3/P4
Add other berries in P3/P4

Today, I also made a lemonade using 20 ounces of water, 2/3 of a lemon and 1 dropper full of Stevia. Nice change of pace :0)

Apple...I used 1/3rd of my apple and 1/2 of my Celery serving to make Dizzy's Salad. I used Rice Vinager instead of Apple Cider. I also had to adjust the measurements since I am taste testing before I make a whole batch. I didn't use the mustard or Braggs since I don't have any.

Chicken (same as lunch)

P2 Salad w/Celery, Apple & Chicken

Dizzy's salad.
Chop up celery, 1 apple, and 1 diced, cooked chicken breast serving.
For a dressing add: 2 T. cider vinegar, 1 pkg. stevia, a little lemon juice, 1 t. dijon mustard (make sure no sugar in your mustard), and a little BRAGGS seasoning if you have it. Let it marinate a little this morning....YUMMY

P2 Baked Apple

Allowed amount of apple serving
water
cinnamon
Sweetner of choice (I use liquid stevia)

In a oven safe baking dish place cut up apple serving. Sprinkle liberaly with cinnamon. Stir in 1 cup water (or enough to cover apple slices). Add Sweetner of choice and stir well. Bake in oven or toaster oven at 325 for 20-30 minutes.

P3 Saucy Chicken

I have not tried this recipe yet...looks good.

Saucy Chicken

1T Butter
1 lbs. boneless,skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size strips
8 oz. Cream Of Mushroom Soup (I will make mine from Linda Sue's website)
1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
2 green onions, sliced
12 oz. Asparagus

1. Melt butter in a large nonstickskillet. Add chicken and cook over medium-high until browned on all sides.
2. Stir together soup, cheese, sour cream, water, Italian seasoning and green onions; pour over chicken. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes more.
3. Cut asparagus into 1-inch pieces and add to skillet. Cook until asparagus is hot.

Cheese of Choice
Oil
Parmesan Cheese
1 Egg

Mix egg with 1/2 cup or so of water. Heat oil (enough to go 1/2 inch up sides of pan) in a med. to large saute pan on med/high to high. Cut your cheese into sticks, coat sticks with Egg wash then roll sticks in Parmesan Cheese. Fry cheese sticks in hot oil until done

Chicken & Onion w/Taco Seasoning (I will bake the chicken and then add it to my onions once they are cooked to desired tenderness)

Tomato Soup w/Shrimp

P3 Recipe Rotel Bake

Rotel Bake
2 lbs of ground beef,
1 pound of sausage (the breakfast kind that comes in a tube, make sure there is no sugar or startches.)
1 8oz block of cream cheese
1 can of rotel (which is diced tomatoes and green chili's I believe)
1 cup cheddar cheese (to top mixture with, Optional)
cook gr. beef and sausage until done. Drain meats and return to pan. While cooking meats place cream cheese and can of rotel in a sauce pan and heat until ingredients are mixed together and warm. Pour Cream Cheese/Rotel mixture over meat and stir until well combined. Top with Cheddar(optional) serve once cheddar is melted.

You can serve this by itself or top lettuce with mixture.

My Holiday Interruption

During my Holiday Interruption I gained over my LDW. I had way to many Starbuck Carmel Light Fraps. I'm good with it as I know I will loose it now that I'm back in P2.

I have till Jan. 31st to loose the weight I gained on my interruption. I am also hoping I will make it to the goal I'd set for myself which is 120 lbs. I have to go into P3 so I will be in P4 in March for my birthday. So no more interruptions for me and no more Carmel Light Fraps...well at least until March when I'm in P4 :0)!

I will stay intentional! I will follow P&I 100% while on VLCD as I always have. I've only strayed off P3 while on my interruptions as there is no "official rules" during interruptions. 120 here I come LOL!
